Quality of work life of personnel at don ya nang subdistrict municipality, phon charoen district, bueng kan province

Abstract

              This research aimed to study 1) the quality of work life of Don Ya Nang Subdistrict Municipality personnel, 2) compare the quality of work life of Don Ya Nang Subdistrict Municipality personnel, and 3) propose guidelines for improving the quality of work life of Don Ya Nang Subdistrict Municipality personnel. The population used for this research was 103 Don Ya Nang Subdistrict Municipality personnel, who were recruited from the entire population. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.832. The statistics used for data analysis included counts, percentages, means, and standard deviations. Hypothesis testing was performed using t-tests and f-tests.

            The results of the research revealed that:

                    1. Overall, the quality of work life of Don Ya Nang Subdistrict Municipality personnel was at a high level (μ = 4.06). When considering each aspect, the highest mean score was fair compensation and benefits (μ = 4.57), followed by good workplace relationships (μ = 4.45), and the lowest mean score was participation in decision-making (μ = 3.45). 2. Results of the comparison of the quality of work life of Don Ya Nang Subdistrict Municipality personnel Categorized by gender, age, education level, average monthly income, and work experience, overall, it was found that Don Ya Nang Subdistrict Municipality personnel with different genders, ages, education levels, average monthly income, and work experience had similar work quality of life. And 3. Suggested guidelines for improving the work quality of Don Ya Nang Subdistrict Municipality personnel include increasing the efficiency of lighting and ventilation systems by using appropriate light bulbs and adding ventilation vents or fans in blind spots
