Journal of Communication and Information Sciences in Asia (๋JCISA) 

The Journal of Communication and Information Sciences in Asia is published by the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. The journal aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination and exchange of contemporary knowledge in the field of communication sciences within both Thai and international contexts. It accepts and publishes research articles, academic articles, and review articles in both Thai and English.

Focus and Scope : Authors should submit articles that fall within the scope of the journal, which includes:

• Social Sciences and Humanities are Arts and Humanities and Visual Arts
• Business, Management, and Accounting are Management of Technology and Innovation, and Marketing
• Computer Sciences are Computer Sciences, miscellaneous, Computer Graphics and Computer-Aided Design.

Peer Review Process : 
The Journal of Communication and Information Sciences in Asia does not charge any publication or processing fees. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by three qualified external reviewers with expertise in relevant disciplines, following a double-blind peer review process. The article review and evaluation process is as follows:

1. Submission

• Authors must submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system on ThaiJo. Prior to submission, authors are required to ensure that the manuscript complies with the Author Guidelines.
• If the manuscript has multiple authors, a Consent Form signed by all co-authors must be attached.

2. Initial Screening

• The Editor is responsible for verifying the completeness of the submitted manuscript,
• conducting a plagiarism check using specialized software,
• assessing whether the content aligns with the scope of the journal.

3. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening by the Editor will proceed to the reviewer selection stage.

• Three qualified reviewers in relevant fields will be selected.
• The review process follows a double-blind method, in which both the authors' and reviewers' identities are concealed.

4. Peer Review

• Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as: originality, methodological rigor, accuracy of references, coherence and clarity of the content
• Reviewers will provide comments and recommendations, which may include: accept for publication, accept with minor/major revisions and reject for publication

5. Editorial Decision

• The Editor considers the reviewers’ evaluations and makes the final decision.
• The editorial office will then send the review results and comments to the author(s).

6. Revision

• Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to the reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified timeframe.
• In cases of major revisions, the manuscript may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers.

7. Final Check

• The Editor conducts a final review to ensure accuracy in both content and formatting.
• Checking includes academic language, reference formatting, figures, tables, and overall presentation.

8. Typesetting and Proofreading

• The manuscript is formatted for publication.
• A proof copy is sent to the author(s) for final verification.

9. Publication

• The article is published in the online journal.
• A DOI (if applicable) is assigned, and the article is uploaded to relevant academic databases such as ThaiJo and Google Scholar.
