Good governance management of wangchai subdistrict administrative organization, nam phong district, khon kaen province

Abstract

           This research aimed to study 1) the management according to the principles of good governance of Wangchai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, 2) compare the management according to the principles of good governance of Wangchai Subdistrict Administrative Organization classified by gender, age, education level, average monthly income, and occupation, and 3) propose guidelines for the development of management according to the principles of good governance of Wangchai Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The sample group used in this research was 380 people living in Wangchai Subdistrict Administrative Organization by using Yamane's formula. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.820. The statistics used for analysis were number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and data analysis. Hypothesis testing was done using t-test and f-test.

           The results of research were found that:

           1. The overall management according to the principles of good governance of Wangchai Subdistrict Administrative Organization is at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average value was the principle of value, followed by the principle of morality, and the aspect with the lowest average value was the principle of the rule of law.

           2. Comparison of the management according to the principles of good governance of Wangchai Subdistrict Administrative Organization classified by gender, age, education level, average monthly income, and occupation. Overall, people with different genders, ages, education levels, average monthly income, and occupations have no different opinions on the management according to the principles of good governance of Wangchai Subdistrict Administrative Organization.

            3. The guidelines for developing the management according to the principles of good governance of Wangchai Subdistrict Administrative Organization include: It should give importance to the organization, set up an action plan according to the urgency of the development of the agency, and work according to the plan.
