ESULTS OF USING ENGLISH SPEAKING AND WRITING SKILLS EXERCISES FOR STUDENTS, SAWI DISTRICT LEARNING ENCOURAGMENT CENTER

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the effects of using English speaking and writing exercises. For junior high school students, 2) to find out the effectiveness of English speaking and writing exercises. for junior high school students, and 3) to study satisfaction with English speaking and writing skills training. For junior high school students of Sawi District, this research is an experimental research. The sample group consisted of 108 junior high school students of Sawi District. Statistics used in data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Efficiency value and t-test. The results of the research found that (1) the results of developing the ability to speak and write English for junior high school students, the Sawi District School of Education had efficiency according to the criteria of 75/75. It was found that the results of the test during study (E1) had an average score of 75 percent and the results of the test after study (E2) had an average score of 78 percent. Shows that performance is 75/78 according to the specified standard criteria 75/75 (2) Results of comparing English speaking and writing abilities. For junior high school students, Sawi District Office, by learning outcomes after studying higher than the learning results before studying Statistically significant at the .05 level and (3) the sample students were satisfied with the English speaking and writing skills training. For junior high school students, Sawi District Office of the Teachers' Council were overall satisfied with the English speaking and writing skills training. at the highest level They were satisfied with the learning management process at the highest level.
