DEVELOPMENT OF SPEAKING SKILLS FOR EVERYDAY LIFE USING CONVERSATION EXERCISES JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL THUNG TAKO DISTRICT LEARNING ENCOURAGEMENT CENTER

Abstract

This research the aim is to develop English speaking skills for everyday communication. Using conversation practice to create conversation practice in speaking English for junior high school students. of the Thung Tako District Learning Promotion Center and study the satisfaction of students and staff of the Thung Tako District Learning Promotion Center to continue training the population was determined by Purposive Sampling, numbering 56 people. The research tool was Test to measure English speaking skills and the satisfaction assessment form. Data were analyzed using mean percentage and s2atandard deviation. The research results found that Activity-based conversation practice consists of 5 units: Greetings, Introducing Oneself and Others, asking for and Giving Directions, Invitation, Telephone Communication. Students who receive training using conversation exercises There has been a significant improvement in English speaking skills. From a pre-training score of 56.47% to a post-training score of 78.90% and there was still a high level of overall satisfaction with the training.
