Abstract

           This research has the following objectives: 1. To study the level of infrastructure services, 2. To compare the levels of infrastructure services classified by personal characteristics, 3. To propose guidelines for improving the quality of infrastructure services of Phasuk Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani Province. This research employs both quantitative and qualitative methods. The sample group was determined from a population of 6,445 residents aged 18 years and above, using Taro Yamane's formula, resulting in a sample size of 376 people. Data was collected using questionnaires with content validity ranging from 0.66 to 1.00 and reliability of .868. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and standard deviation for general information of the sample group. Inferential statistics including t-test and F-test were used to compare infrastructure services of Phasuk Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani Province, classified by gender, age, education level, and occupation.

          The research findings revealed: 1. The overall level of infrastructure services provided by Phasuk Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani Province, was at a high level. 2. When comparing infrastructure services based on different personal characteristics, the study found that respondents of different genders had no significant difference in their opinions toward infrastructure services. However, respondents of different ages showed statistically significant differences in their opinions at the .05 level, while respondents with different education levels and occupations showed statistically significant differences in their opinions at the .01 level. 3. Recommendations include: establishing a comprehensive database system for all roads in the area, including their current condition, service life, and urgency for repairs; creating channels for residents to report damaged areas via Line application groups; coordinating with the Provincial Electricity Authority to expand electricity coverage to all households; and installing energy-efficient lighting such as LED solar cells at risk points and in public areas.
