กรอบกระบวนทัศน์สำหรับการออกแบบการวิจัย: แนวทางการเลือกวิธีการวิจัยตามหลักเครสเวลล์

การศึกษานี้นำเสนอกรอบแนวคิดสำหรับการออกแบบการวิจัยอย่างเป็นระบบ โดยยึดหลักการของเครสเวลล์ในการพัฒนาแผนการวิจัยที่มีประสิทธิภาพ กรอบการศึกษาประกอบด้วยสี่องค์ประกอบหลัก ได้แก่ การระบุข้อเสนอทางปรัชญาของความรู้ การพิจารณากลยุทธ์การสอบถาม การระบุระเบียบวิธีวิจัย และการเลือกแนวทางการวิจัยที่เหมาะสม การระบุข้อเสนอทางปรัชญาครอบคลุมสี่กระบวนทัศน์หลัก คือ กระบวนทัศน์หลังยุคปฏิฐานนิยม (post-positivist) ที่เน้นการทดสอบทฤษฎีและลดปัจจัยรบกวน กระบวนทัศน์คอนสตรัคติวิสต์ (constructivism) ที่มุ่งเข้าใจความหมายที่บุคคลสร้างขึ้น กระบวนทัศน์แบบมีส่วนร่วม (advocacy/participatory) ที่เน้นการเปลี่ยนแปลงและการมีส่วนร่วม และกระบวนทัศน์แบบปฏิบัตินิยม (pragmatism) ที่เน้นการแก้ปัญหาและผลลัพธ์ที่ได้ กลยุทธ์การสอบถามแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ และการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน โดยแต่ละแนวทางมีเทคนิคและวิธีการที่เฉพาะเจาะจง การระบุระเบียบวิธีวิจัย ประกอบด้วย การกำหนดเครื่องมือวิจัย ขั้นตอนการดำเนินงาน และวิธีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล การเลือกแนวทางการวิจัยควรพิจารณาจากเกณฑ์สำคัญ 4 ประการ คือ ปัญหาวิจัยและคำถามวิจัย ประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของนักวิจัย ผู้อ่านเป้าหมาย และข้อจำกัดด้านเวลา ทรัพยากร และความเชี่ยวชาญ กรอบการศึกษานี้มีประโยชน์สำหรับนักวิจัยในการออกแบบงานวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพและสอดคล้องกับวัตถุประสงค์การศึกษา
