Human Relations Skills of Educational Administrators Affiliated of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

Abstract

This objectives of this research to study and compare the human relations skills of educational administrators affiliated with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration based on educational levels, positions, and school sizes. The sample consisted of 370 teachers in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in the academic year 2023. The sample was selected by stratified sampling and then simple random sampling according to the proportion of school size. The research instrument was a questionnaire about the human relations skills of school administrators in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The scale was a 5-point rating scale with a consistency index of 0.80-1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.98. The statistics used for analysis were the mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe's post hoc comparison method. The results of the research found that: 1) The human relations skills of educational administrators in Bangkok metropolitan administration were high in general and by dimension, with the mean scores ranked from highest to lowest as follows: understanding others, communication, self-understanding, conflict resolution, and working with others. 2) Teachers with different educational levels had different opinions on the human relations skills of educational administrators in Bangkok metropolitan administration, with a statistically significant difference at the .05 level. Teachers with different positions did not have different opinions on the human relations skills of educational administrators in Bangkok metropolitan administration. And teachers who worked in schools of different sizes had different opinions on the human relations skills of educational administrators in Bangkok metropolitan administration, with a statistically significant difference at the .05 level.
