Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) examine the levels of perceptions regarding organizational support, organizational transparency, employee participation, and organizational knowledge management affecting administrative efficiency in public sector organizations in Thailand; and (2) investigate the influence of these factors on administrative efficiency. This research employed a quantitative approach, with data collected from a sample of 400 personnel working in public sector organizations in Thailand. The findings revealed that the overall levels of perceptions toward organizational support, transparency, employee participation, and knowledge management were at a high level. Among these factors, organizational support had the highest mean score (x̄ = 3.72), followed by employee participation and knowledge management, which had equal mean scores (x̄ = 3.68), while organizational transparency had the lowest mean score (x̄ = 3.58), respectively. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicated that all four factors significantly influenced administrative efficiency in public sector organizations in Thailand. Specifically, employee participation had the strongest effect (β = .519), followed by organizational transparency (β = .300), knowledge management (β = .143), and organizational support (β = .100), respectively.
