บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคุณภาพการสอบบัญชีกับราคาหุ้นสามัญของบริษัทในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย โดยใช้ขนาดสำนักงานสอบบัญชี ค่าธรรมเนียมการสอบบัญชี และความผิดปกติในงบการเงินที่คำนวณตามโมเดล M-Score ของ Beneish (1999) เป็นตัวชี้วัดคุณภาพการสอบบัญชี เป็นการศึกษาจากข้อมูลทุติยภูมิที่อยู่ในระบบฐานข้อมูล Bloomberg และรายงานฉบับบูรณาการของบริษัทจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย รวม 404 บริษัท ย้อนหลัง 3 ปี ตั้งแต่ปี 2564-2566 รวมข้อมูลทั้งสิ้น 1,212 รายปีรายบริษัท ใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและวิธีวิเคราะห์การถดถอยเชิงพหุแบบ Robustness ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นว่า คุณภาพการสอบบัญชี ได้แก่ ขนาดสำนักงานสอบบัญชีมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับราคาหุ้นสามัญ  และความผิดปกติในงบการเงินมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับราคาหุ้นสามัญ โดยมีขนาดของกิจการซึ่งวัดด้วยสินทรัพย์รวมเป็นตัวแปรควบคุมซึ่งมีผลกระทบทางบวกต่อราคาหุ้นสามัญของบริษัทเช่นเดียวกัน ผลการวิจัยนี้จึงสะท้อนถึงความเกี่ยวข้องในมูลค่าของหุ้นสามัญของขนาดสำนักงานสอบบัญชี และความผิดปกติในงบการเงิน ที่นักลงทุนสามารถใช้ประโยชน์ในการตัดสินใจลงทุนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย
