Abstract

This study aimed to 1) examine the level of readiness for adopting alternative energy and the approaches to reducing environmental impacts, and 2) investigate the influence of alternative energy readiness on environmental impact reduction among Industrial Factory Entrepreneurs in Suphan Buri Province. Data was collected by a questionnaire from a sample of 259 respondents. The statistical techniques used included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that the levels of readiness for alternative energy adoption and environmental impact reduction approaches were high. Furthermore, readiness for alternative energy significantly influenced environmental impact reduction, accounting for 68 percent. Based on these findings, practical implications suggest that entrepreneurs should prioritize the development of infrastructure and energy systems, as these have the greatest impact on reducing environmental effects. This should be accompanied by the adoption of alternative energy technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. In addition, organizations should develop personnel capabilities in energy management to ensure effective technology utilization, along with proper financial and investment planning to support continuous transition. Such approaches can help reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the competitiveness of entrepreneurs while promoting long-term environmental sustainability.
