Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study the level of perceived organizational support of employees in the aviation business of Thailand, 2) to study the level of persistent behavior of employees in the aviation business of Thailand, 3) to compare the perceived organizational support of employees between groups with different personal factors in aviation business of Thailand, 4) to compare the persistence behavior of employee between groups with different personal factors in aviation business of Thailand, and 5) to study the relationship between perceived organizational support and persistent behavior of employees in the aviation business of Thailand. The sample for this study included 400 permanent employees who work on the ground and onboard in the aviation business of Thailand, consisting of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, Thai Smile Airways Company Limited, and Nok Airlines Public Company Limited. These results found that 1) the level of the perceived organizational support of employees in the aviation business of Thailand was high, 2) the level of persistent behavior of employees in the aviation business of Thailand was high, 3) personal factors of employee classified by status, and duration of work with airlines, the employee had different levels of perceived organizational support, statistically significant at the 0.05 level, 4) personal factors of employee classified by age, status, monthly income and the duration of work with airlines, the employee had different levels of persistence behavior, statistical significance at 0.05 level and 5) the relationship between perceived organizational support and persistence behavior of employee had a very high level, statistically significant at the 0.01 level.
