Abstract

This research aims to study 1) the perception level of Transformational Leadership of leader, 2) the behavior level of organizational citizenship, and 3) the impact of Transformational Leadership on organizational citizenship behavior in the automotive parts manufacturing business. The study was conducted using a mixed-method approach with qualitative and quantitative research methods. The 6 executives for qualitative information. The sample group for quantitative data collection includes employees involved in collaborative maintenance activities within office sectors of industrial factories, factory category code 29309, involved in the production of parts and accessories for vehicles, registered as a juristic person with the Department of Business Development, Minister of Commerce, totaling 284 people. The tools used in the research were semi-structured in-depth interviews, records of group conversation meetings, and questionnaires. Qualitative data was analyzed through content analysis, while quantitative data was analyzed using statistical methods, frequency distribution, percentages, standard deviation, and structural equation model analysis. The results found that the most weighted component of transformational leadership is charismatic influence, followed by inspirational motivation, individualized consideration, and intellectual stimulation. As for organizational citizenship behavior, the most weighted component is a duty consciousness, followed by cooperation, assistance, patience, and empathy. The analysis of the structural equation model of the impact of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior in the automotive parts manufacturing business showed that the model is harmoniously congruent with the empirical data. It can be used as a guideline for developing the capabilities of leaders in the automotive parts manufacturing business to enhance the potential of leaders in the automotive industry.
