Abstract

The objectives of this study were to study: 1)the organizational factors in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, 2) the employees’ participation behaviors in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. The participants were employees of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. The research tool used to collect the data was a questionnaire Statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, and one-way ANOVA. The result revealed that the level of organizational factors in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities were at a high level. The first 3 items were: clear policies and operational plans, support from parties outside organization, and provide opportunity for employees to participate in organizing the activities. the last level was surveying the employees' opinions about the activities. The participative behavior of the employees was at a moderate level. The first 3 were: cooperation in participating in activities, an opportunity to know colleagues in the organization. and spending regular work time for activities. The last was participation in determining the success criteria of the activity goals. Employees with different personal factors had no different opinions on the organizational factors in cooperate social responsibility. Employees with different gender, ages, and work years had no differences in the participative behavior in the corporate social activities. Employees with different levels revealed the participative behavior in the corporate social activities of the organization differently at the statistically significant level of 0.05.
