Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the data protection guidelines of employees under the Personal Data Protection Act. of current employees and retired employees This study was a qualitative study by applying the observation, interview, and referential documentation for data collection. The data were analyzed by using content analysis and triangulation. The sample used in this study were employees of Häfele (Thailand) Co., Ltd. working in the head office which consisted of 8 human resources employees and 2 legal personnel. The study found that guidelines for personal data protection of Häfele (Thailand) Co., Ltd. complies with the Personal Data Protection Act in 1) Policy defining, 2) Roles of responsibility and Operation process, and Communication for all for understanding which enable for the correct in practices resulting in no personal data leakage and no data violation of the employees were found.
