A Remote Working Model Enhancing Work Efficiency According to Managers’ Experience in Industrial Sector

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the remote working model and work effectiveness. The participants were 45 managers participated in development of training programs. The research was a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative methods. The research tools were a questionnaire through the website www.mentimeter.com and a strategic conversation technique. Data were analyzed by a quasi-statistic of frequency and percentages. The result showed that 91 percent of the managers revealed that the mix of online-and-onsite or hybrid work was the most effective model, followed 7 percent was onsite-only model and 2 percent was online-only model. The result from strategic discussions revealed that the factors that enhance work efficiency were Work-life Balance, Job Management, Work Performance, and Time and Budget.
