Knowledge and understanding towards the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E.2562 (2019) of the Department of Land Transport Personnel

The objectives of this research were 1. to study the level of knowledge and understanding towards the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) of the Department of Land Transport personnel. 2. to compare the demographic factors and the knowledge and understanding towards the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) of the Department of Land Transport personnel. 3. to study the relationship between the commonly used media and the level of knowledge and understanding of the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) of the Department of Land Transport personnel. The sample was 305 Officials in the Department of Land Transport. Data were collected by questionnaire. The statistics employed for data analysis were percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, t test, One-way ANOVA, LSD and Chi-square. The results of the study were that 1. the level of knowledge and understanding of the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) of the Department of Land Transport personnel. 2. According to the hypothesis testing, age, education, working experience and Classification level caused difference in knowledge and understanding of the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019). Gender did not cause any difference in knowledge and understanding of the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019). Moreover, 3. the commonly used media did not relate to the level of knowledge and understanding of the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019).
