Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the process of managing community welfare funds with participation for the elderly, with a focus on the role of the elderly in participating in the management of the fund and related services. The study is divided into three main parts: the process of fund management, the exploration of the role of the elderly in participation, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of participatory community welfare fund management. The findings reveal that participatory fund management can strengthen and sustain the fund through the involvement of the elderly in decision-making and monitoring the implementation. The role of the elderly in setting policies and managing fund expenditures helps increase transparency and shared responsibility within the community. The evaluation of the fund's operations shows that the community welfare fund is effective in assisting the elderly in terms of healthcare and financial support, while also fostering a sense of ownership and stability within the community. This study demonstrates that participatory community welfare fund management is an effective mechanism for caring for the elderly and can serve as a sustainable model for extending development to other communities.
