The Relationship between Organizational Culture and Personnel Administration of Schools under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

This research article aimed to 1) study the organizational culture of educational institutions, 2) examine personnel administration within educational institutions, and 3) investigate the relationship between organizational culture and personnel administration of educational institutions. The sample consisted of 276 participants, including school administrators and government teachers, selected through stratified random sampling based on educational service areas. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire with content validity ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 1.00. The statistical methods employed were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient analysis, with the significance level set at .05.
The research findings revealed that: (1) The overall and specific aspects of organizational culture in educational institutions were at a high level. When ranked by mean score from highest to lowest, they included: organizational purpose, benevolence, decision-making, honesty, trust, empowerment, sense of belonging, acceptance, personnel diversity, and quality. (2) The overall and specific aspects of personnel administration in educational institutions were also at a high level. Ranked by mean score from highest to lowest, they included: professional development of teachers and educational personnel, performance evaluation, salary advancement, disciplinary actions and penalties, and resignation or termination. (3) There was a highly positive and statistically significant correlation between organizational culture and personnel administration of educational institutions under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.
