Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the project assessment of the academic excellence competition for the Kindergarten Center in the Thasathorn Sub-district, Surat Thani province, using the CIPP assessment model within the project's context, input, process, and output. The sample consisted of two administrators, three heads of Kindergarten Center, three teachers, and 80 guardians, totaling 88 persons. The instrument used to collect data was two questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the mean (equation) and standard deviation (S.D).

The findings of the study showed that: 1. Context: overall, the evaluation was at a high level (equation= 4.10). The most appropriate item was the clarity of the project's activities and operations, which aligned with the objectives. 2. Input: the overall evaluation was ranked at a high level (equation= 4.00). The most appropriate item was the administrators' commitment and dedication to educational development. For the parents, the overall evaluation was rated highest. The most appropriate item was the sufficient materials and equipment for this project 3. The process: the overall evaluation was ranked at a high level (equation= 4.67). The most appropriate item was the evidence of the monitoring and evaluation report 4. Output: the evaluation was at a high level (equation= 4.46). The most appropriate item was that early childhood children have developed observation skills and can distinguish. As for the parents' opinions, they were found to be high overall. The most appropriate item was that parents found the project's services convenient.
