Guidelines for Promoting Classroom Research Operation of Teachers’ in Schools Under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

This research aimed to study classroom promotion of teachers and study the guidelines for classroom promotion of teachers’ schools under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The samples consisted of 281 teachers under Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 that selected by stratified random sampling according to the study area. The sample was employed in the group discussion consisted of 8 respondents that selected by purposive sampling. The research instrument was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with content validity of 1.00 and reliability at 0.99 and focus group forms the statistics used in the data analysis consisted of percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis.

            The findings were as follows:  1) The classroom promotion of teachers was overall high and each individual aspect at a high level, ranking in the order of mean from high to low as policy and plan to promote research in the classroom, motivating classroom research, supervise and monitor the conduct of classroom research, create knowledge and understanding about conducting research in the classroom and publication of research results;            2) the guidelines for classroom promotion of teachers’ schools under Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 was administrators meet with teachers to explain policy. Classroom research objectives and topics, teachers are sent to receive training to gain knowledge about conducting research in the classroom in various departments, create plans/projects to support classroom research, administer and give praise to teachers who conduct research in the classroom at school meetings or in public and encourage teachers who have classroom research knowledge to become lecturers or mentors in conducting classroom research, encourage teachers who have research work in the classroom to use their work as academic work in order to advance their academic status, provide opportunities for personnel interested in classroom research to study in educational institutions and encourage publication in the journal of the educational area.
