The objectives of this research were: (1) to investigate the level of risk management for school effectiveness; and (2) to examine the development of risk management for school effectiveness in the Phryai KhueangNai School Consortium under the Ubon Ratchathani Amnatcharoen Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The sample consisted of 163 participants, including 13 school administrators selected through purposive sampling and 150 teachers selected through simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean, percentage, and standard deviation (S.D.).
The findings revealed that: 1) The overall level of risk management was at a high level. When each aspect was considered, all aspects were found to be at a high level. Ranked from highest to lowest mean scores, the aspects were strategic risk management, legal and regulatory compliance risk management, financial risk management, and operational risk management, with operational risk management receiving the lowest mean score. 2) The development of risk management for school effectiveness indicated that school administrators and teachers should collaboratively plan risk management implementation, study relevant details and operational guidelines, and participate in additional training on risk management. Such professional development would enhance their awareness of the importance of risk management and serve as a guideline for improving the effectiveness of school operations.
