This research examines the political participation behavior of students at the College of Politics and Governance, Mahasarakham University, and proposes recommendations to enhance their engagement. Using a qualitative approach, the study conducted in-depth interviews with 10 individuals involved in political activities at the university, local, and national levels. The findings reveal that students participate in politics in five key ways: campaigning to encourage voter participation, exercising political rights, advocating for democracy, demanding the repeal of unjust political laws, and promoting public political engagement. Based on these findings, the research suggests that all students and young people should actively express their political views, as political participation is a collective responsibility rather than one limited to specific groups. Moreover, students should recognize their political rights as a shared concern and not merely a personal matter. Lastly, they should be more courageous in voicing their political opinions and feel free to critique government performance without fear.
