Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: 1) study the administration based on the standards of the student care and support system, and 2) compare the administration of the

student care and support system in extended opportunity schools under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, classified by gender and work experience. The sample consisted of 238 participants, including school administrators and teachers, selected through stratified random sampling based on educational service areas. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire with a content validity index of 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.82. The statistics used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Scheffé’s method for pairwise comparison, with the significance level set at .05.

The research findings revealed that: (1) The overall and specific aspects of administration based on the standards of the student care and support system in extended opportunity schools were at a high level. When ranked by mean score from highest to lowest, they included: process, students, and factors. (2) The comparison of administration based on the standards of the student care and support system classified by gender showed no statistically significant difference, both overall and in each aspect. Similarly, the comparison classified by work experience revealed no statistically significant difference, both overall and in each aspect.
