Business Management in the crisis phenomena: The pandemic of covid 19

Abstract

The research “Business Management in the crisis Phenomena” have 2 objectives 1) to study emerging of the Covid 19 crisis effecting the business management. 2) To study the method and strategies that business firms administrate the crisis. This study was the qualitative research study which collecting date from 2 sources, firstly, the secondary data from websites, international organizations, and also information from news and statistical organization and governmental organization in Thailand. Secondary, the researcher produced the dept-interview process to the 7 types of the business firm total samples were the high rank administrators of the 15 business organizations. The research results are that some types of the business firm have been highly negative effected by the Covid 19 crisis which pursues to decline period of business such as temporary and permanently closed which are the Hotel business firms, food business firm and the related business to the tourist and travelling. On the Contrary, the production firms have positive effect from the covid 19 cisis ie, the house furniture have more sales and customers. In additional, the online business also get the positive effects from the Covid 19 crisis. The research found that to operate any business firm under the crisis there are not any best strategy to manage Every business firms but the business firm must apply the strategy due to their business identity, context and timing. Anyway, most business firms create the strategy for some important reasons, that are 1) to maintain the present customers, 2) keep closed relationship with the business collaboration such as supplier, investor, business associations, 3) to maintain and motivate the intellectual human resources, 4) to update the information about the crisis and the method how to decline the crisis and 5) to create the new business platform such as the online business.
