Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Parents' Concerns in the Context of Early Childhood Education is an important issue that reflects changes in the education system in the digital era. The focus is on studying parents' knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and level of concern regarding the use of AI in young children's learning, including data safety, developmental appropriateness, screen time, ethics, and fairness. Studying these issues aims to uncover empirical facts, generate new knowledge, and develop approaches for designing or regulating the use of AI that align with the holistic development of young children. This helps ensure that the study of AI and parents' concerns in early childhood education is comprehensive, covering the dimensions of child development, artificial intelligence, and social context, leading to policy recommendations and design guidelines that are safe, appropriate, and capable of building sustainable trust, which is a core element of early childhood education in the 21st century.
