Abstract

          The research article entitled “Digital Innovation for the Cultural Heritage of Lanna Artistry at Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, Ko Kha District, Lampang Province” aims to: 1) manage and systematize knowledge related to the artistic forms of Wat Phra That Lampang Luang; 2) create community-based artistic innovations associated with Wat Phra That Lampang Luang; and 3) develop and disseminate information on the temple’s artistic heritage through the application ArtLampangLuang.

          The study involved collecting and compiling relevant data from various sources, which were then categorized and presented to enhance accessibility to the aesthetic values embedded within this cultural landscape. The dissemination highlights the artistic beauty of the local community, whose cultural center is Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, and provides tangible evidence of long-standing artistic and cultural heritage passed down through generations. This heritage reflects the strength of the community rooted in faith and devotion to Buddhism. In particular, the site represents one of the most complete and well-preserved examples of Lanna golden-age artistry in Thailand. The digital innovation developed through this research facilitates easy access to information and aligns with contemporary lifestyles shaped by the rapid advancement of technology.
