The purpose of this research article is to study the level of characteristics and development guidelines of educational institution administrators in the 21st century at Na Klang Educational Quality Development Network Center 1, under the Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 2. Mixed-methods research method. The sample group was 50 school administrators and teachers. The quantitative research tool was a 5-level estimation questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data included frequency distribution, percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation. The qualitative tool is a semi-structured interview. Qualitative data analysis is content analysis. The researcher found that 1) the characteristics of educational institution administrators in the 21st century, Na Klang Educational Quality Development Network Center 1, under the Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 2, were overall at a high level. Ranking the averages in each area from highest to lowest is creativity. Communication Vision, analytical thinking, and community building. 2) Guidelines for developing the characteristics of educational institution administrators in the 21st century found that the first 3 characteristics of educational institution administrators should be developed are as follows: Community building Administrators must create opportunities for people to promote learning. Executives must work with understanding with others and communicate with the outside. Vision executives must adapt to the rapidly changing world situation. Executives must have leadership skills. analytical thinking Executives must be able to link information systematically. Able to think of problems in new ways.
