The rapid advancement of digital technologies and the dynamics of the global digital economy have significantly transformed higher education, particularly in digital business programs that must continuously adapt to emerging competency requirements and volatile labor market demands. This academic article aims to analyze and synthesize the application of agile concepts in adapting digital business curricula. Its goal is to enhance flexibility, increase curriculum agility, and ensure alignment between graduate outcomes and stakeholder expectations. A systematic literature review and knowledge synthesis were conducted, drawing on research related to the agile manifesto, agile curriculum management, and contemporary learning approaches such as project-based learning and competency-based education, including case studies on curriculum development in higher education institutions that apply the agile framework at the program level, aimed at enhancing the agility of design and improvement processes through iterative development, continuous feedback and adaptation, and active engagement of stakeholders, including lecturers, students, and industry partners. Integrating agile principles with project-based and competency-based learning further promotes the development of key twenty-first-century competencies, such as critical thinking, creativity, complex problem-solving, and innovative use of digital technologies, thereby improving graduate employability in the digital economy. In conclusion, an agile-informed curriculum design for digital business education can act as a strategic framework. It can enhance curriculum quality, modernizing program structures, and enable sustainable responsiveness to ongoing change.
