A Collaborative management and administrative resources affecting the efficiency of public health operations under the mandate of local administrative organizations in Mueang Sakon Nakhon District, Sakon Nakhon Province

Abstract

The purposes of the research included the following: 1. to study the level of collaborative management and administrative resources and the efficiency of public health operations according to the authority and duties of local administrative organizations in Muang Sakon Nakhon District, 2. to study the influence of collaborative management and administrative resources on the efficiency of public health operations according to the authority of local administrative organizations in Muang Sakon Nakhon District. The sample consisted of 343 village health volunteers (VHVs) in Mueang Sakon Nakhon District. Using a stratified random sampling method. The tool used for data collection was a questionnaire, and the statistics employed for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The research revealed these results: 1. The overall collaborative management. The administrative resources. and the efficiency of public health operations under the authority and duties of local administrative organizations in Sakon Nakhon City District is at a high level. 2. Collaborative management in terms of role performance, collaboration initiative, actors involved, work organization, decision-making, and collaboration goals. It has a statistically significant influence on the efficiency of public health operations according to the authority and duties of local administrative organizations in Muang Sakon Nakhon District, Sakon Nakhon Province, at the 0.01 level. By jointly predicting the efficiency level of public health operations according to the authority and duties of local administrative organizations in Muang Sakon Nakhon District, at 84.80 percent. Administrative resources in terms of personnel, working methods, and budget significantly influenced the efficiency of public health operations according to the duties of local administrative organizations in Muang Sakon Nakhon District, at the 0.01 level. Except for the budget, equipment, and management aspects, they were able to jointly predict the efficiency level of public health operations according to the authority and duties of local administrative organizations in Muang Sakon Nakhon District at 94.40 percent.
