Development towards a learning city according to the local context

In an era where the world is rapidly changing and technology plays a major role in every aspect of our daily lives, developing cities into learning cities has become essential. A learning city is a community that focuses on promoting lifelong learning, where people of all ages have equal access to education and opportunities for self-development. Learning not only enhances individual potential but also strengthens communities and local economies. This article presents approaches to developing learning cities in the context of Thailand, summarizing good practices from successful sources, including promoting lifelong learning, developing infrastructure and technology, creating learning networks, supporting citizen participation, and developing according to the context of the area, so that urban development is effective and sustainable.
