Publication Ethics

                   The editorial board of the Academic Journal of the Faculty of Management Science, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University has established guidelines and best practices to ensure adherence to the ethical standards of academic publishing. These ethical principles serve as the foundation for the journal's operations and the responsibilities of all involved parties. The journal outlines clear roles and responsibilities for the three key stakeholders in the publication process: authors, editors, and reviewers. Each group is expected to study, understand, and comply with the journal’s ethical policies as follows:

Duties of Authors

  1. The submitted work must be original and must not have been previously published or disseminated elsewhere.
  2. Authors must properly cite any content taken from other sources and include a complete list of references at the end of the article.
  3. Authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal's formatting and submission guidelines.
  4. All listed authors must have made a genuine contribution to the research and writing of the article.
  5. Authors must not plagiarize the work of others. Proper citation is required whenever others’ work is referenced or incorporated into the manuscript.

                                      6. Authors must agree to transfer copyright to the journal prior to publication and must not submit or publish the same work elsewhere after it has been published in the Academic Journal of the Faculty of Management Science, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University.

Duties of Editors

  1. Editors are responsible for reviewing and evaluating all submitted manuscripts to determine their suitability for publication in the journal. This includes assessing the alignment of the manuscript content with the journal’s aims and scope, as well as ensuring quality throughout the peer review and pre-publication process.

 

  1. Editors must exercise academic judgment in all editorial decisions and remain free from bias regarding the author’s race, gender, religion, culture, political views, or institutional affiliation.
  2. Editors must avoid any conflicts of interest with authors or reviewers and must not exploit submitted manuscripts or published content for commercial purposes or personal academic gain.
  3. Editors must not alter or interfere with the manuscript content or peer review evaluations, nor should they suppress or manipulate the communication between reviewers and authors.
  4. Editors must strictly adhere to the journal’s established processes and procedures.

            Duties of Reviewers

    1. Reviewers must prioritize the academic quality of the manuscript and evaluate it based on scholarly principles and sound reasoning, without bias, personal opinions, or any conflict of interest with the author(s).
    2. Reviewers must not exploit or derive personal benefit from the academic work under their review.
    3. Reviewers must ensure that they possess adequate knowledge and understanding of the subject matter in the manuscript assigned for review.
    4. If reviewers discover that the manuscript contains plagiarism or duplicated content from other works, they must immediately notify the editor.
    5. Reviewers must complete their evaluations within the assigned timeframe and must not disclose any information regarding the manuscript to unauthorized individuals.
