Abstract

This research to determine level of happiness and compare happiness among nursing students before and after using relaxation
techniques in study of nursing administration subject. Systematic sampling was used to recruit 33 nursing students studying nursing
administration subject in academic year of 2016. Relaxation techniques included breathing exercise and painting that were specified in nursing administration subject. Data were collected through self-rated happiness scale that was modif ed from Thai Happiness Indicators. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the t-test. Research results were found as follows ; Level of happiness among nursing students before and after using relaxation techniques in study of nursing administration subject was 57.58% respectively that was the same as happiness of general Thai people and 36.37% was higher happiness.
Overall, happiness of nursing students before and after using relaxation techniques in study of nursing administration was not
different.
