Factors affecting teacher’s career selection at Mahasarakham University, Thailand, of students who did not graduate from the educational program

This research aims to study the factors that affect the selection of graduate teachers Mahasarakram university who did not graduate
from the education program. The sample group was graduates with a 4-year bachelor’s degree from Mahasarakham University. Data for every faculty /college failed educational qualif cations over the past 10 years from 2008-2018 were obtained by Accidental Sampling method. The sample comprised 218 persons. The tools used in the research were of 2 types:- 1) scale questionnaire, 5 level values, 47 items which have the power of classif cation (rxy) from .22 to .84 and have the whole conf dence value equal to 0.961 and 2) An interview form was a structured interview with 4 items. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. Data were presented qualitatively by analyzing descriptive data
Research results were as follows.
1. The career expectancy factor is the professional career of the teacher who has always sought modern knowledge for self
improvement. The teaching career is a profession where practitioners must set a good example to other people. Teavhing is a career that is sacrificed to society.
2. The personal factor is want to be employed in government service, wanting a challenging career and desiring to use the knowledge
learned to develop the learner rather than just the occupation learned. I in happy if I teach people without knowledge. It is considered
to help develop a more knowledgeable people. I have worked with teachers in school and enjoy more than their favorite field.
3. The person involved is a person you respect, other than parents, relatives, teachers, friends /seniors). Teachers and teaching
staff need to work for a teacher if there is a chance. the person you respect as a teacher. (Apart from parents, relatives, teachers, friends /seniors) and received support from the family to teach teachers .
In summary, career expectations was the commonest factor why student teachers at at Mahasarakrm university failed to graduate
from the education program. These graduates had opinions that the teaching profession is a profession that seeks new knowledge. They always modernize and develop themselves in the career to set a good example to others. Teaching is a career that sacrif ces to society Important. It is a stable career and a noble career. Therefore, it should bring useful information to the university to improve curriculum development direction and to promote the teaching of academic programs that are effective in the teaching profession of the university
