The effects of knowledge development and job effciency of support staff of Mahasarakham University

The purposes of this research were:- 1) To study knowledge development of support staff of Mahasarakham University. 2) To study
job efficiency of support staff of Mahasarakham University, 3) To verify the relationships between knowledge development and job efficiency of support staff of Mahasarakham University, and 4) To examine the effects of knowledge development and job efficiency of support staff of Mahasarakham University. The samples for this research were 300 support staff of Mahasarakham University. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire of opinions for Knowledge Development and Job Efficiency of Support Staff of Mahasarakham University and reliability as checked by Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient method was 0.8990 and 0.9440. The statistical methods used for analyzing the collected data were; average, standard deviation, multiple correlation analysis and multiple linear regressions. The result indicated that:- 1) The support staff of Mahasarakham University had overall opinions at a high level
on the knowledge development and in each aspect including training, counterpart, job enlargement and self-learning. 2) The support staff of Mahasarakham University had overall opinions at a high level regarding the job efficiency and in each aspect including quality of work, cost of work, quantity of work and time. 3) The overall knowledge development had a relationship with job efficiency. and 4) Knowledge development, self-learning, counterpart, and job enlargement all positively and significantly affected the overall job efficiency.
