Publication Ethics
Authors’ Responsibilities
- Manuscripts submitted for consideration in the journal must be original works that have neither been previously published nor are under consideration for publication in any other journal.
- Submitted manuscripts must not constitute plagiarism, whether from the authors’ own prior work or that of others, and must include complete and accurate scholarly citations in accordance with academic standards.
- All listed authors must have made a genuine contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study, and must take responsibility for the content of the manuscript.
- Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and notify the editor accordingly.
- All authors must provide consent for the submission of the manuscript to the journal for publication.
Reviewers’ Responsibilities
- Reviewers must not be aware of the authors’ identities (double-blind review) and must not disclose any details of the manuscript under review to others until the work is published.
- Reviewers must inform the editor and decline the review if they identify any conflict of interest or close association with the subject matter of the manuscript.
- Reviewers must evaluate the manuscript solely within the scope of their academic expertise. If they identify similarities or overlaps with other published works, they must inform the editor.
- Reviews should be conducted impartially, honestly, and without bias, and should provide constructive feedback for the improvement of the work.
- Manuscript evaluations must be completed within the time frame specified by the editor.
Editors’ Responsibilities
- Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts submitted for publication to ensure they align with the journal’s aims and scope, and meet academic quality standards.
- Editors will oversee the peer review process in the form of a double-blind review, engaging qualified experts in the relevant field, and ensuring fairness and impartiality.
- Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and disclose information only to those directly involved in the review and publication process.
- Editors are responsible for addressing ethical concerns, managing conflicts of interest, and refraining from any actions that could result in personal gain during the publication process.
