Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study work attitudes affecting organizational commitment of the Government Housing Bank employees in the Northeastern region, 2) study the work environment affecting organizational commitment of the Government Housing Bank employees in the Northeastern region, and 3) study the work-life balance affecting organizational commitment of the Government Housing Bank employees in the Northeastern region. The sample consisted of 476 employees of the Government Housing Bank in the Northeastern region, selected by purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis.
The research results found that 1) work attitude affects organizational commitment of the Government Housing Bank employees in the Northeastern region, predicting the overall score of 76.8 percent (R2 = 0.768) with statistical significance at 0.05. 2) work environment affects organizational commitment of the Government Housing Bank employees in the Northeastern region, predicting the overall score of 62.3 percent (R2 = 0.623) with statistical significance at 0.05. 3) work-life balance affects organizational commitment of the Government Housing Bank employees in the Northeastern region, predicting the overall score of 72.6 percent (R2 = 0.726) with statistical significance at 0.05.
