Administration Based on Good Governance Practice of Local Administrative Organizations at Mueang Phetchabun Disyrict, Phetchabun Province

This research aimed to investigate the administration based on good governance practice, and to compare attitudes of personnel in the organizations toward administration based on good governance practice of Local Administrative Organizations in Mueang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province. The research tool for this quantitative and survey research were constructed questionnaire. The sample group consisted of 287 members of administrative board, municipality members, members of Tambon Administrative Organizations, staff, and community leaders at Mueang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province. The statistics employed for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and LSD. with a statistically significant value at the level of 0.05. The research results revealed that: 1.) The administration based on good governance practice of Local Administrative Organizations at Mueang Phetchabun, District, Phetchabun Province, by overall were at the highest level. The efficiency, response, participation, and equality were at the highest level, while effectiveness, accountability, transparency, decentralization, rule of law, and consensus were at a high level. 2.) The results of hypothesis test indicated that personnel with different genders, and educational levels did not have different attitudes toward the administration based on good governance practice, while personnel with different ages, working positions, and income had different attitudes toward the administration based on good governance practice, with a statistically significant value at the level of 0.05. When the pair difference by LSD was compared, it was found that personnel in the organizations with different age, position, and income had pair relationship with a statistical significance at the level of 0.05. The pair with no relation was gender, and educational level, with no statistical difference at 0.05 level.
