A Causal Model of Big Five Personality Factors and Organizational Citizenship Behavior that Affects the Working Happiness of Employees: A Case Study of a Sound Insulation Company

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) examine the influence of the Five-Factor Personality Traits on Organizational Citizenship Behavior 2) examine the influence of the Five-Factor Personality Traits on employees' happiness at work and 3) examine the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on employees' happiness at work in a soundproof room control systems company. The population consisted of 426 company employees. A sample of 320 employees was selected through convenience sampling, followed by multistage sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations) and inferential statistics via structural equation modeling.
The results revealed that 1) The Five-Factor Personality Traits had a positive influence on employees' Organizational Citizenship Behavior in the soundproof room control systems company at the statistical significance level of .001, with a predictive power of 26.0 percent. 2) The Five-Factor Personality Traits and Organizational Citizenship Behavior had a positive influence on employees' happiness at work in the company at the .001 statistical significance level, with a predictive power of 65.0 percent. the structural model was consistent with the empirical data. The model fit indices were as follows: Chi-square = 105.051, Normed Chi-square = 1.982, RMR = .013, RMSEA = .049, GFI = .967, AGFI = .934, NFI = .975, and CFI = .988. Overall, all statistical values met the established criteria. Therefore, organizational leaders should place importance on all dimensions of the Five-Factor Personality Traits and Organizational Citizenship Behavior to promote employees’ work happiness.
