The Role of School Administrators for Promoting Educational Equity in Opportunity Expansion School Under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) investigate the roles of school administrators in promoting educational equity; 2) compare the roles of school administrators in promoting educational equity as classified by work experience; and 3) compare the roles of school administrators in promoting educational equity as classified by school size. This research was quantitative research, the sample group consisted of 248 teachers from opportunity expansion schools under the Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a five-level rating scale questionnaire containing 30 items. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance, and Scheffé’s method.
The findings revealed that:
1. The roles of school administrators in promoting educational equity, both overall and in each aspect, were at a high level. The aspects ranked from the highest to the lowest mean scores were: continuous development of learning content and learning processes, social participation in educational management, and lifelong education for the public.
2. The comparison of the roles of school administrators in promoting educational equity classified by work experience showed no statistically significant differences in both overall and individual aspects.
3. The comparison of the roles of school administrators in promoting educational equity classified by school size showed no statistically significant differences in both overall and individual aspects.
The findings indicate that school administrators play an important role in promoting educational equity through improving learning quality, strengthening community collaboration, and supporting lifelong learning, which contribute to equal and inclusive educational development.
