Human Capital Management for Employee Experience
Main Article Content
Abstract
This academic article aims to explore the concept and approaches to human capital management through the lens of employee experience (EX), which serves as a critical mechanism for enhancing organizational performance and competitiveness in the contemporary workplace. The study adopts a documentary research approach by synthesizing relevant academic literature and research findings to propose a conceptual framework for designing positive employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and development to retention.
The findings indicate that employee experience can be effectively developed through four key factors: work environment, advanced technology and tools, well-designed employee welfare, and flexible work arrangements. These factors significantly influence employees’ perceptions, satisfaction, and engagement within the organization. Furthermore, effective management of employee experience contributes to several strategic outcomes, including improved productivity, reduced turnover, strengthened organizational culture, and enhanced competitive advantage. Based on these findings, the article proposes an integrated model that links inputs, processes, and outcomes, providing practical implications for organizations to apply in managing human capital more effectively and sustainably in the long term.
