The Needs for Enhancing Creative Leadership of School Administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to: 1) examine the current and desirable conditions of creative leadership of school administrators; and 2) determine the needs for enhancing creative leadership of school administrators under the same office. This study employed a quantitative research design. The sample consisted of 315 school administrators and teachers, selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a five-level rating scale questionnaire. The item–objective congruence (IOC) index of all items was 1.00, and the overall reliability coefficient was 0.90. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the priority needs index (PNI).
The results revealed that the overall current condition of creative leadership of school administrators was at a moderate level. When considered by aspect, vision demonstrated the highest level of practice, followed by imagination, whereas flexibility showed the lowest level. In contrast, the overall desirable condition of creative leadership was at a high level. Trust was identified as the most desirable aspect, followed by problem-solving ability, while vision was ranked as the least desirable aspect. Regarding needs for enhancing creative leadership, the overall priority needs index was 0.31. When examined by aspect, trust exhibited the highest level of need, followed by flexibility, whereas vision showed the lowest level of need.
