Factors Affecting the Development of Learning Organizations in Schools under the Sai Mai District Office Bangkok Metropolitan Administration

Abstract
This research aimed to: 1. study the levels of factors affecting educational institutions as learning organizations 2. study the level of learning organization characteristics of educational institutions 3. examine the relationships between factors affecting learning organizations; and 4. investigate the factors affecting educational institutions as learning organizations under the Sai Mai District Office, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The sample consisted of 241 teachers from educational institutions under the Sai Mai District Office, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The samples were selected using stratified random sampling and simple random sampling techniques. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The research findings were as follows:
1.Overall, the factors affecting educational institutions as learning organizations were rated at a high level.
- Overall, the level of educational institutions as learning organizations was rated at a high level.
- The relationship between the factors affecting educational institutions as learning organizations was at a relatively high level (r = .804), statistically significant at the .01 level.
- there were four significant predictive variables affecting the learning organization, ranked in order of importance as follows: organizational structure (X1) (β = .359), leadership (X3) (β = .252), technology (X4) (β = .168), and motivation (X2) (β = .139). These four variables jointly accounted for 65.03percent of the variance in the learning organization. Accordingly, the predictive equations for the learning organization of educational institutions were as follows:
Raw score equation:Y = 0.486 + 0.355X1 + 0.231X3 + 0.168X4 + 0.135X2
Standardized score equation:ZY = 0.359X1 + 0.252X3 + 0.168X4 + 0.139X2
