Abstract

This research article aims to investigate the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) among hotel employees, employing a quantitative research approach. The sample comprised 257 hotel employees in Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that hotel businesses implemented CSR at a high level across all five dimensions and that employees demonstrated a high level of OCB in all aspects. Hypothesis testing revealed that CSR had a significant positive effect on OCB (B = 0.314, p < 0.01), particularly in the dimensions of employee responsibility (B = 0.652, p < 0.01) and community responsibility (B = 0.470, p < 0.01). However, supplier responsibility showed a significant negative effect on OCB (B = -0.698, p < 0.01), while customer responsibility and environmental responsibility had no statistically significant effect (p > 0.05). These findings suggest that hotel entrepreneurs should prioritize the development of policies and strategies related to employee and community responsibilities in order to foster OCB within the hotel sector. Additionally, this study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by expanding the understanding of the relationship between CSR strategies and OCB in the hotel industry, a context where empirical research remains relatively limited.
