Factors Influencing Having Papers Accepted for Publication in International Journals among Academic Personnel of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University

Abstract

     The objective of this research was to determine the factors influencing having papers accepted for publication in international journals among academic personnel of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University. Data were collected from 472 subjects from the academic years 2017 to 2022. The independent variables were gender, department, level of education, academic title, place where the degree was earned (domestically or abroad), and work experience. The dependent variable was international publication. The research instrument was a data recording form, and data analysis was performed using binary logistic regression. The study found four factors signifcantly influencing having papers for publication in international journals at the 0.01 level: gender, department, level of education, and academic title.
