Assessment of academic personnel readiness in requesting academic placement at the Faculty of Education Khonkaen University

The objectives of this research were: (1) Assess the readiness of academic personnel in requesting academic placement Faculty
of Education Khonkaen University (2) Propose guidelines for the development of academic personnel Faculty of Education Khonkaen
University. The samples were academic personnel at the Faculty of Education, consisting of 28 people. Research instruments included an evaluation form and in-depth interview form. Statistics used for data analysis were mean and standard deviation.
The research fndings revealed that:
The results of the readiness assessment of academic personnel 1.1) The knowledge about criteria and methods for determining
academic positions in general is at a high level ( =3.98, SD=0.78) 1.2) Evidence In the request for academic placement was mostly from of the respondents There is evidence to support the request for academic placement, which is that the main researcher (not less than 50%) is 80%
2) Academic personnel development guidelines 2.1) Academic personnel development should provide education activities, understanding of criteria and procedures for the appointment of academic persons. Continuously, or at least 2 times a year Experts are invited to offer new knowledge of issues that are not understood, such as: encouraging the personnel department to attend meetings or train with the central agency on the criteria. To be able to give advice and propose guidelines for applying for academic positions. 2.2) Establish academic position preparation for academic personnel, support the budget, request position assignments, create individual development plans for clarity for those who wish to request placement, develop greater readiness and create a mentoring system by inviting those requesting academic placement. Come to help give advice to those who want to request a
position.
