Problems and Information Needs for Administrating Lecturer Assistant of General Education, Mahasarakram University

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study problems of lecturer assistant administration and to study the demand for using
information to manage the lecturer assistant administration of General Education (GE) office, Mahasarakham University. The sample group consisted of 67 lecturer assistants and 109 general education’s lecturers. The instrument of the study was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. The result showed that 1) The management’s problem of lecturer assistant administration, General Education (GE) office, Mahasarakham University is evaluated in a high level for lecturer assistants. The highest average part is the follow-up part. Meanwhile, this problem is evaluated in a medium level for lecturers and the highest average part is follow-up part also. 2) The study of the demand for using information system to manage the lecturer assistant administration of General Education (GE) office, Mahasarakham University found that both lecturer assistants and lecturers have a high demand for using information system to manage the lecturer assistant administration.
