AR HuaHin Map Guide

Abstract

The objectives of this research were ; (1) to develop a virtual tourist map, case study of Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province ;
and (2) to evaluate satisfaction of users with the virtual tourist map, case study of Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. This
research is to develop a virtual tourist map, case study of Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The sample group used in
this research was divided into 2 groups, which are 7 staffs of Hua Hin Municipality and 393 tourists. The instrument used in the research was a questionnaire about satisfaction with the virtual tourist map. The data was analyzed by using mean and standard deviation. The result of the research 1) The map has the characteristics of an infographic presentation. And we use Augmented Reality techniques in conjunction with video presentations which can be used through the HP Reveal program.2) Showed that in term of the result of user satisfaction evaluation on the virtual tourist map, case study of Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, the users are satisfed with the overall picture of the virtual tourist map, case study of Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, at a high level. The mean is 4.34 and the standard deviation (S.D) is 0.67.
