The Relationship between Human Resource Management and Performance at Mahasarakham University

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study human resource management at
Mahasarakham University 2) Study performance at Mahasarakham University and 3) Examine
the relationship between human resource management and performance at Mahasarakham
University. This study used a questionnaire as an instrument for collecting data from a sample of 92 executives at Mahasarakham University. The statistics used for the analyses were mean
standard deviation and multiple correlations. The results of this study indicated that: 1) the
executives at Mahasarakham University perceived the overall opinions at a high level for human
resource management and a high level for each of the following: recruitment and selection,
training and development, performance appraisal, compensation, and benefts. 2) The executive
at Mahasarakham University perceived the overall opinions high level for performance and
high level for each aspect: learning and growth, internal process, fnance, and customer. and
3) Human resource management in terms of recruitment and selection, training and
development, performance appraisal, compensation, and benefits positively affect the
performance with the statistical signifcance.
