Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study and compare pharmacy students’ satisfaction towards the teaching and learning process in the Pharmacy Orientation course at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahasarakham University. The samples were 71 first-year pharmacy students selected with simple random sampling. The instrument used in the study was a 5-rating scale questionnaire with 34 items. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.83. Data were analyzed by using percentage, mean and standard deviation. The t-test of the independent sample was employed for testing hypotheses. The fndings showed that the pharmacy students’ satisfaction in each and overall aspects were at a high level, except for the lecturer’s aspect, which was at the highest level. Differences in satisfaction according to gender and GPA toward the teaching and learning process were not significant (p>0.05).
